Getting started
What is BeMySupporter?
BeMySupporter is a Caribbean marketplace where independent creators sell music, art, books, digital downloads, merch and more directly to their community. Supporters browse and buy on the site; creators keep most of each sale and withdraw earnings to a local bank account.
Who is BeMySupporter for?
Three groups use the platform: supporters who buy from creators they believe in; creators (sellers) who list and sell their work; and independent delivery couriers who deliver physical merch when a seller opts into third-party delivery. You need an account to buy, sell, or apply as a courier.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create a free supporter account to check out, save a wishlist, follow creators, and message sellers. Creators and couriers use the same login system — you apply separately to unlock seller or courier tools.
Is BeMySupporter only for the Caribbean?
We are built Caribbean-first — pricing in TTD, local bank payouts, and creators across the region — but anyone who can complete checkout and receive digital goods is welcome to support creators on the site.
Buying & supporters
How do I buy something?
Browse the shop, open a listing you like, and click through checkout. Pay by card via our payment partner. Digital items are available from your Purchases page after payment; physical items are fulfilled by the seller or a courier you choose at checkout.
When do I get a digital download?
Right after payment succeeds. Go to Purchases in your account to download files. Download links are secure and tied to your account — they are not meant to be shared publicly.
How does delivery work for merch and physical items?
It depends on the listing. Some sellers ship themselves. Others offer third-party delivery — at checkout you pick an independent courier, pay their delivery fee, and the seller and courier coordinate pickup and drop-off. Delivery fees go to the courier, not the seller.
My payment was declined — was I charged?
If checkout did not complete, nothing should be charged. A temporary bank hold can sometimes appear and disappear within a few days. Use Try again on the payment screen, or contact support from that page if you need help.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled case by case. Start by messaging the seller from the listing page. If you cannot resolve it, contact support with your order details. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
How do I report a listing or seller?
On any public listing or creator profile (while signed in), use Report it here at the bottom of the page. Choose a reason, describe the issue, and our team receives the report by email.
Selling as a creator
How do I start selling?
Apply at Start selling. Tell us who you are, pick an @handle, and describe what you make. Applications are reviewed manually — usually within a couple of days. Once approved, create listings from your dashboard.
What fees do creators pay?
No monthly subscription. You pay a storage fee when you publish or renew a listing (based on file size). Card processing (3.5% + TT$0.25) is taken from each sale as it clears. Our 5% service fee (minimum TT$2.00 per withdrawal) is deducted when you withdraw — not on every individual sale. Full breakdown with examples: Fees & pricing.
How long does a listing stay live?
Each paid publish or renewal keeps a listing live for 180 days. You can renew before it expires. If it lapses, it is hidden from the shop until you renew — your files are kept for a grace period.
Can I hide a listing without deleting it?
Yes. In Dashboard → My listings, open a live listing and click Hide listing. It moves to your Hidden tab and supporters cannot buy it until you make it live again (while your paid period is still active).
When and how do I get paid?
Sale earnings go to your creator balance after payment clears. When your balance reaches TT$100.00, request a withdrawal to your bank from Dashboard → Payout. Withdrawals are processed manually by our team.
What can I sell?
Digital files (music, ebooks, art packs), physical merch and items you can ship or hand to a courier, and more — see categories when you create a listing. You must own the rights to what you sell and follow our content rules. Prohibited content is removed.
What is third-party delivery for sellers?
On merch listings you can opt in so buyers choose an independent courier at checkout. You still prepare the order; the courier handles pickup and delivery. You do not receive the delivery fee — that goes to the courier.
Delivery couriers
How do I become a delivery courier?
Apply at Courier application. You will need vehicle details, schedule, delivery options, a driver's permit, and a vehicle photo. Applications are reviewed before you appear at checkout — you are not live until we approve you.
When do couriers show at checkout?
Only active couriers who have accepted the delivery agreement appear when a seller enables third-party delivery on a merch listing. Buyers see your name, logo, fee, and delivery options.
Can I pause courier orders?
Yes. In your Courier dashboard, use Hide from checkout to temporarily remove yourself from new orders. Your account and balance stay active — click Show at checkout again when you are ready.
How do couriers get paid?
Delivery fees from orders credit your courier balance separately from seller earnings. When you reach the minimum balance, request a payout from Courier → Payouts, same as creators.
Account & security
Why do I need to verify my email?
Verification confirms you control the address used for receipts, payouts, and security alerts. Some actions (like selling) require a verified email and phone number.
Why is my phone number required?
Creators and couriers must provide a phone number for coordination and account security. It is not shown publicly on your shop page.
I forgot my password
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. We email a secure link to reset it.
Can I be a creator and a courier on one account?
Not at the same time — seller and courier are separate account types. If you operate both businesses, use separate email addresses to apply for each role.
Help & policies
How do I contact support?
Email support@bemysupporter.com or use the support form on the failed payment page if checkout did not go through. Creators can also use Report a bug in the dashboard sidebar.
Where are the legal policies?
Read our Terms of Service (including delivery couriers) and Privacy Policy. Couriers must accept the delivery courier terms before appearing at checkout.
Can I partner with BeMySupporter?
See Work with us for delivery partner and brand ambassador opportunities.
